ADDed Brilliance is your ultimate information resource for attention deficit disorder (ADD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

ADDed Brilliance is the online, digital version of Whizz Kidz magazine, the official publication of the Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Group of Southern Africa (ADHASA). The magazine was extremely popular in its printed format, but in order to share this invaluable source of information on ADHD with a much wider audience, we now bring you a readily accessible digital version.

Primarily aimed at helping parents of children with ADHD, the magazine quickly evolved into an aid for teachers of these children as well as for adults 'suffering' from ADHD.

The first online issue of ADDed Brilliance will appear in Spring 2011 and will contain articles from ADHD specialists like Anita Decaires-Wagner, Heather Picton and Terry Wilke, together with some new scribes. All seasoned professionals in the field of ADHD, the authors of these top-notch articles are recognised both locally and overseas, so you are ensured that all information is well researched and of the highest standard.

Coming up in the first issue

We have a great mixture of articles on ADHD and related topics in the first issue. Here are just a few to whet your appetite.

Heather Picton founded ADHASA 21 years ago, in a time when there were minimal resources available to people looking for information on ADHD. She has dedicated her adult life to helping parents, children and teachers to find solutions that will assist them in their quest to deal with ADHD. Heather's article provides an overview of the current status of ADHD research and trends.

Anita Decaires-Wagner never fails to have readers asking for more. Her article on procrastination will equip you with some valuable tools to deal with a seemingly overwhelming list of 'things to do'.

Nicolette Groeneveld asks the question: "Are we really listening or do we simply talk too much?" in her article Conscious Listening.
